2020 Baltimore Donut Bike Crawl

2020 Baltimore Donut Bike Crawl

A Virtual Quarantine Celebration of the Donut and its Maker. No Crawling Necessary.

Usually consisting of a casual urban glide via bicycle through Baltimore City to obtain donuts, the current climate of the global pandemic has us grounded as we shelter in place. As a way to bring a sense of normalcy and uplift those that have soldiered on in spite of the challenges, we are continuing the Donut Crawl in a virtual capacity on Instagram Live.

Join us as some of the city's best donut purveyors --
Michelle Diggs of Blondie's Doughnuts, Mike Roslan of Diablo Doughnuts, Melanie Molinaro of Little Fig Bakeshop, and Doug Wetzel of Donut Stop Believin' -- talk about their shops, their love for donuts, and what they've been up to the past few months. In addition, Dr. Courtney Kraus, a Pediatric Ophthalmologist & Surgeon at Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute, will discuss how Wilmer has continued to give care throughout the pandemic and the progress being made towards pediatric ophthalmologic & corneal diseases.

Join us on Saturday, June 6 -- the day after National Donut Day -- and join everyone in showing some love to our local donut purveyors. The cost for ticket donations is $25 each, and ALL proceeds will be shared by the donut purveyors and the Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute for Pediatric Ophthalmology research.
