Supporting Disadvantaged Youth To Achieve Their Potential With Living Classrooms Hands-On Education And Job Training Programs.
GREAT SOUNDS Headlining the evening’s entertainment is renowned New Orleans-based funk and jazz jam band, Galactic, mixing modern rhythms and electronic instrumentation within the house-shaking framework of New Orleans’ funk pop ‘n’ roll.
Opening act, Vanessa Collier is a master musician and multi-instrumentalist who weaves funk, soul, rock, and blues into every fiery, and powerful performance. With soulful vocals, searing saxophone, and witty songwriting, Vanessa is blazing a trail and singling herself out as an artist to watch.
Also featuring a special performance by students of our Ascend through Music Program who are learning how to play instruments, write, produce, record, and perform their own original music.
GREAT FOOD & SPIRITS Enjoy delicious food and drinks by over 80 of Baltimore’s top restaurants, caterers, bars, and micro-breweries. Cash bars will also be available.

GREAT CAUSE Maritime Magic is a benefit in support of the innovative hands-on education, job-training, health & wellness, and violence prevention programs provided by Living Classrooms Foundation. Living Classrooms disrupts the cycle of poverty and makes our community safer, stronger, and healthier.
