The Last Waltz
A musical benefit for Moveable Feast
**All tickets are general admission and all guests will be treated equally. Please select a price level based on your means.**
It started as a concert and became a celebration.
On Thanksgiving day 1976, Canadian roots rock band The Band played their last show at WInterland Ballroom. Filmed by Martin Scorcese, the performance became known as The Last Waltz and featured an ensemble of noteable musicians dropping in to pay homage to a legendary musical force.
On November 16th, we aim to recreate the Last Waltz experience here in Baltimore. Featuring a core group of powerhouse musicians and some very special guests, this concert will showcase great local talent for an even greater cause.
Proceeds from this event will be donated to Moveable Feast, a Maryland charity dedicated to providing medically-tailored meals to people with serious illnesses - especially in jurisdictions with limited or no other home-delivered meal services. The Moveable Feast motto is: FEED people, FIGHT disease, FOSTER hope.
