Motor House brings Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter (and daughter of Bobby McFerrin) Madison McFerrin to Baltimore on Sept. 21. McFerrin’s soulful take on a cappella has been praised by critics, including the New York Times, DJ Gilles Peterson, and Pitchfork, which named her as one of its “Rising Artists,” noting how McFerrin’s style offers an “understated, compelling testament to the power and dexterity of the human voice.” One of her goals in performing her music is to spread love and positivity. This is McFerrin’s only show in the DMV area. Tickets are $15.
Baltimore's own Christen B will perform an opening set.
Stoop Nerds' Ball Tech is DJing a happy hour in Showroom from 6-8PM.
