Members only Live Lunch with Robert Cray

WTMD is thrilled to welcome five-time Grammy winner and guitar icon Robert Cray for a free, members-only Live Lunch on Thursday Feb. 27.

Robert Cray has created a sound that rises from American roots and arrives today both fresh and familiar. In just over 40 years Cray and his band have recorded 20 studio releases, 15 of which have been on the Billboard charts, and played bars, concert halls, festivals and arenas around the world.

Cray has performed with a who's-who of the music industry, including Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, John Lee Hooker, Chuck Berry, Buddy Guy and many others.

This show is one day before the official release of Cray's new studio album, "That's What I Heard," which drops Feb. 28 on Nozzle Records/Thirty Tigers. Produced by Steve Jordan, the new record is a tip-of-the-hat to Cray's soul, R&B, gospel and blues influences.

This special members only Live Lunch with Robert Cray is Thursday Feb. 27 at the WTMD studios, 1 Olympic Place in Towson.  Doors are 11:30, show time is 12 noon, admission is free, and seating is limited. Tickets are free but reservations are limited to 2 per customer.
