A Howard County Recreation & Parks Event
Event is Sold out for 2020
If you have purchased tickets to the event, please abide by the following guidelines and information when you arrive at your assigned ticket time on Saturday.
Please wear a mask at all times. All CDC, state, county and local guidelines must be followed.
- Do Not attend the event if you have you developed ANY of the following symptoms of COVID-19 infection in the last ten (10) days:
- Fever (either subjective or measured) or chills
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Fatigue
- Muscle or body aches
- Unusual headache
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Have had a positive test for COVID-19 infection within the past ten (10) days?
Have been within six (6) feet for longer than 15 minutes with someone who has suspected or confirmed COVID-19 infection, WITHOUT taking proper precautions like wearing a mask and frequently washing your hands during this contact period?
Parking is located at the front of the community center and around the back in Western Regional Park.
The entrance is located at the side parking lot. (Not through the building)
Please stay in your car until your assigned ticket time. We will hold up a large sign when it is time to line up. Please line up with at least 6ft distance between you and the next person or family in line.
Upon entry, tickets will be scanned and child ticket holders will receive a colored wristband. When your hour time slot is up, we will announce over the speaker the hour is ending and everyone should make their way to the exit.
On the way out, children with a wristband will receive their treat bags! (only children with the $5 ticket will receive a treat bag.)
Please make your way to the exit in an efficient manner as the next group is waiting to come in.
No climbing on the trucks this year, so please stay outside the cones or the white circles painted on the ground. You are welcome to take pictures and use the fun picture backdrops scattered throughout the event.
- Please bring your own water, the building water fountains are turned off. There is no food to purchase on site, but nearby businesses are available to purchase food after the event: Wheelhouse Farm Market, Walker’s Tap & Table, Subway, Ragu Italian Kitchen and up the street are Dunkin Donuts and High’s.
Enjoy the trucks, complete the scavenger hunt, take lots of pictures and don’t forget your treat bag at the end!

- In order to follow physical distancing practices, we will not be having facepainting, hayrides, inflatables, or other carnival type activities.
- Limit 2 adults per child do to occupancy restrictions
- Do not touch or climb on the vehicles
- All CDC, State and local guidelines will be enforced.

Child- $5 each and will recieve a pre-filled trick or treat bag!
Adults-- MUST "purchase" a Free ticket at $0.00 to allow for an accurate head count.
Tickets are limited and sold in one-hour increments.
